After a busy stretch of weddings and travel, I had the chance to slow down a bit with a golden hour session at The Celery Bog right here in West Lafayette, Indiana. It’s one of those places that’s easy to overlook if you drive past it often, but when you step onto the trail and take it all in—it’s kind of magic.
Every frame felt peaceful and romantic in a way that only nature can offer. It reminded me of why I love photographing couples in outdoor spaces like this—the scenery really speaks for itself.
If you're local to West Lafayette or the Lafayette, Indiana area and dreaming up a session that’s a little more relaxed and a little more outdoorsy, I can’t recommend The Celery Bog Nature Area enough. It’s perfect for engagement sessions, anniversary shoots, senior portraits, or even a simple “just because” couple’s session. And when golden hour hits here? Unreal.
