There’s something so special about watching someone you’ve known in one season of life step into a new one. When Sara first reached out to ask about photography for her wedding, I was instantly excited—not only because she and Alex sounded like the sweetest couple, but because I’ve known Sara since our Alpha Gam days. Being trusted with such important moments for friends means so much.

On August 17th, surrounded by the rustic charm of Merefield Vintage Barn, Sara and Alex said “I do” in a celebration that was full of joy, intention, and heartfelt connection. From the first look to the quiet glances during the ceremony and the dancing that capped off the evening, their day was a beautiful reflection of who they are—laid-back, loving, and completely present with each other.

Though I wasn’t able to be there in person, I’m so grateful my trusted friend, Erin Drysdale, who stepped in as my associate photographer who was there to document every moment with the same heart and vision we bring to every wedding. The result? A gallery full of laughter, love, and all the little details that made their day so unique.

Sara and Alex, thank you for letting us be part of your celebration. Your day was stunning, your energy was contagious, and your love is something truly special.
