As a busy spring and summer full of beautiful weddings comes to a close for us this year, we are finally back for our WMC blog! Over the past few months, we’ve had the chance to be a part of so many love stories (with more to come this year… we’re not done just yet!). With so many beautiful moments we’ve experienced, we wanted to share a few of these on the blog with you! Whether you’re just someone who can enjoy and appreciate a stunning wedding or you’re looking for wedding inspiration as you plan your own day, I hope you love this new series!
Today, we’re highlighting the Grantham wedding (May 2023). Chandler and Sally connected with us through some friends of friends we share, and what a fun turn of events this friendship led to! From our first phone call with Sally and her sweet mom, we saw an immediate similarity in our stories with having a short engagement in comparison to many weddings. We were able to bond over the shared experiences that come with planning a wedding on a tighter timeline. From the beginning, it felt like we were just old friends sharing in the joy of engagement together.
Chandler and Sally’s wedding weekend was nothing short of absolutely stunning! Connor and I traveled to Oxford, Mississippi to be present for both the rehearsal dinner and wedding day. It was both of our first times in Oxford and we absolutely loved it! We had a bit of time on Friday before the rehearsal dinner to explore downtown Oxford and the campus of Ole Miss and we were so inspired by the scenery of this college town. The rehearsal dinner on Friday evening was a night of rejoicing the way God had been at work in Sally and Chandler’s lives up to this point and thanking Him for weaving their stories together. The wedding day was the celebration of all celebrations in their union! Let me tell you, the Granthams know how to throw a party, and their friends and family came to get down! Their reception was an absolute blast, from the grand venue to the live band to the fun glasses distributed to guests… every detail was thought through and intricately planned!
